Or call the Reservation Center toll-fee at 833-609-0686. Open Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST, but closed for all State holidays.  Please note, Mondays are the busiest day of the week for the Reservation Center. If possible, please make your calls on Wednesdays or Thursdays, when telephone traffic is slow.

Payments

Discover, MasterCard, Visa, in-state checks and money orders are accepted. A $4.5 non-refundable fee will be assessed on each reservation made, online, via phone, or as a walk-in. An advance deposit of a single night's stay is required for each facility reserved, and must be received within ten days of the date of the request or the reservation will be canceled. Deposits will be applied to the first night's or day's use. For reservations made 10 to 13 months prior to the arrival date, the entire reservation balance must be received within 30 days of the date of the request.

Gift Cards

Gift cards are a great way to share the gift of Louisiana State Parks with your family and friends. Reloadable gift cards are available for purchase, for any value with a $5 minimum, at your local state park or by calling the main office at 225-342-8111.

Reservation Details

Reservations must be made at least 48 hours in advance, and can be made up to 13 months to the day in advance online or by calling the reservation center at 1-833-609-0686. Reservations within the 48-hour window can be made by contacting the park directly. Reservations are accepted only from persons 21 years of age or older. All persons under 21 years of age must be accompanied by adults when using reserved facilities.

The Reservation Center is closed Saturdays, Sundays and all State holidays. Since reservations cannot be made more than 13 months to the day in advance, then you would need to wait until the next business day to make those reservations through the Reservation Center.

Senior Discounts

Holders of the America the Beautiful-National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands SENIOR and ACCESS Passes(formerly the Golden Age and Golden Access Passports) issued by the National Park Service, and whose home State Park system honor the America the Beautiful passes for overnight discounts, are entitled to a 50% reduction on camping fees at Louisiana State Parks. (Passport holders are allowed one site per passport).  Golden Age/Access Passport holders must present a valid card at check-in. Discount only applies to campsite rentals, not cabin, lodge or group camps.
