STRIKING STEEL: IRON IN THE HAT AT LONGFELLOW

Come experience the sights, sounds, and sparks of blacksmithing on Saturday, October 11, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Longfellow-Evangeline State Historic Site. The local Louisiana Metalsmiths Association will gather for a day of their skill, creativity, and passion for the forge. 
At 2:00 p.m., don't miss the Iron in the Hat drawing, a blacksmith's twist on a raffle where donated items range from hand-forged pieces and one-of-a-kind surprises. You never know what you might win, but you do have to be present to claim your prize! Admission fees apply.
