Step back in time and experience Louisiana?s rich cultural heritage along scenic Bayou Teche! Join us for School Day a special educational event featuring guided tours and living history demonstrations, including:
Spinning & Weaving
Blacksmithing
Black Powder Gun Demonstration

Learn about the Creole, Acadian, and enslaved settlers who helped shape the vibrant history of Louisiana. Longfellow-Evangeline SHS is proud to be the first state park established along the Bayou Teche, preserving and sharing these important stories.
