Easter Egg Hunt (Poverty Point World Heritage Site)

Poverty Point World Heritage Site will host an Easter egg hunt on the morning of Saturday March, 30th this year. This event begins at 11 AM and takes place in the picnic areas inside the visitor's center. Visitors are welcome to hunt for eggs until they're all gone! We recommend taking a ranger-guided tram tour or taking a hike to experience the mounds and earthworks before or after the hunt!
